St. Olaf College External Reports Inventory
Every year St. Olaf College submits over a hundred reports to outside organizations ranging from college guide publishers to federal government agencies. These reports contain information and statistics about the College that are vital sources of information to the public as well as fulfilling requirements for accreditation and compliance with federal regulations. Some reports are shared with institutional or departmental associations, in return providing the College with valuable comparative information from other institutions. While some reports are specific to a certain department or area of the college, most reports are a collaborative effort among several departments and divisions. This effort is usually coordinated by Institutional Research (IR), which helps assure consistency in data reporting as well as submission of reports in a timely manner.IR has a compiled an inventory of these reports, including information about which organizations request/require the reports, which departments provide the information, and which department formally submits the report. The inventory is provided here for reference both as an unduplicated list by type of organization receiving the report as well as a list by all of the departments providing information for the various reports. Many of the actual reports, or selected data from the reports, are available on the IR Web Site.
