Accessing Your Degree Audit

St. Olaf College Student Information System [SIS] (8-10-09)

A degree audit is a record of your progress toward your St. Olaf degree.  It lists all degree requirements EXCEPT those that pertain to your major(s)/concentration(s).  Majors and concentrations are certified by departments and programs.

On the SIS, your degree audit is maintained electronically and available for you to consult at any time.

To access your degree audit on the St. Olaf SIS:

Go to: https://www.stolaf.edu/sis/login.cfm
Log in using your St. Olaf login name and password.
On the left-hand side of the screen, click on “Courses and Grades.”
Then, on the right-hand side, click on the pull-down menu and choose “Degree Audit.”

Note that your degree audit tells you:

  1. The degree for which you are a candidate (B.A. or B.M.);
  2. Your advisor, class year (the year you are currently scheduled to graduate), curriculum year (the year you first entered St. Olaf), and your academic standing (“Good,” unless you are on academic probation or have been academically dismissed);
  3. Your currently-declared majors, emphases, and concentrations;
  4. Your progress toward St. Olaf’s general requirements, and what remains to complete, compared to what is required;
  5. Your progress toward St. Olaf’s comprehensive (general education) requirements, including the courses you have taken that fulfill each requirement and an indication of which GE requirements remain to be fulfilled;
  6. A complete list, arranged alphabetically by department (not by year and term as on your transcript) of all the courses you have taken at St. Olaf and transferred in for St. Olaf credit from elsewhere.  In some cases, you will notice some credit adjustments instead of credit for specific transfer credits.  If these are confusing to you, please contact us for an explanation.

If you have any questions about your degree audit, please contact the Registrar’s Office, registrar@stolaf.edu or 507-786-3014.
