St. Olaf College Board Options

College policy permits students who are living on campus in the residence halls to choose from any of the three Board Options. If you live on campus, you must have a full board plan. Only students who live off campus in non-St. Olaf housing or who have permission from the Director of Residence Life are allowed to choose the “No Board” option.

Please submit your request at the website below prior to 4pm on August 31st, 2009. If you do not choose a board plan, we will assign one to you and will bill your student account for the cost.

If you are living off-campus or have permission from the Director of Residence Life to drop your board plan completely or to a partial board plan, refunds are calculated accordingly:

  • Drop board plan prior to 4pm on Wednesday September 9th, 2009 to be refunded 100% of the cost.
  • Drop board plan before 4pm on Thursday September 17th, 2009 to be refunded 93% of the cost.
  • Drop board plan before 4pm on Tuesday September 22nd, 2009 to be refunded 86% of the cost.
  • No refunds of changes will be made after the deadline of September 22nd, 2009.
  • Only one change of a meal plan is permitted between September 9th - September 22nd.

College policy permits students living off campus, in an Honor House, student teaching or doing clinicals through the Nursing Department to select the partial board option.
