St. Olaf College Board Options

College policy permits students who are living on campus in the residence halls to choose from any of the three board options. If you live in a residence hall, you must have a full board plan. Students living in an honor house, living off campus, are student teaching, or doing clinicals through the Nursing Department are allowed to select the partial board option.

Only students who live off campus in non-St. Olaf housing are allowed to select the "No Board" option. Students who have documented medical conditions that require food modification should contact the Director of Residence Life to discuss meal plan options - including the "No Board" plan option.

You are able to select your board plan online through the SIS (Student Information System). Once you are signed in click on the Financials link on the left hand side. From the financials page you will see a drop down menu on the right side, choose board plan from the drop down. This will bring you to the page where you can select or change your board plan.

You may change your fall semester board plan until the 10th day of that term, which is September 18, 2013. No changes can be made after the 10th day of each term.

Full Board Options - $4,920 for the year, $2,460 each semester

~ 21 Meal Plan - 21 meals per week - no flex dollars

Each week begins at Friday breakfast and ends after Thursday dinner.

  • For students that will eat three meals a day in the cafeteria and will not be on campus over holiday breaks.

~ 17 Meal Plan - 17 meals per week & $300 flex dollars per year

Each week begins at Friday breakfast and ends after Thursday dinner.

  • For students who will eat the majority of their meals in the cafeteria, but may miss a couple meals here and there.
  • Good fit for students that need to remain on campus over short holiday breaks.
