St. Olaf Payment Options
2009-2010
Option 1- Single Payment Plan
A single payment of $42,700 by August 21, 2009, in addition to the two $300 prepayments will yield a $400 discount from the $43,700 comprehensive fee. The discount is not available to students receiving need-based financial aid. The discount is pro-rated for merit scholarship recipients and for students who receive non-need-based loans.
If you select the single payment option, notify us as soon as possible by emailing tuition@stolaf.edu with the subject heading "Single Payment". Within your email please include the applicable student name and number.
Option 2- The Semester Payment Plan
This plan is offered through St. Olaf College. You will pay in two installments. The fall semester payment is due August 21, 2009. The spring semester payment is due January 22, 2010. If payments are late, a finance charge of 1% per month will be assessed on the unpaid balance.

Option 3- Monthly or Quarterly Payment Plan
Attn Sophomores:On the recent mailing you received from TMS regarding the monthly payment plan, it incorrectly stated that a continuing student credit of $1,660 was being applied to all returning students. Please do not deduct an additional $1,660 when calculating your monthly payment amount. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
The monthly or quarterly payment options are offered through Tuition Management Systems (TMS). This plan allows you to pay your balance due in either ten or four equal payments beginning on July 15th and ending on April 15th. Monthly statements will be sent upon receipt of your $65 enrollment fee to TMS. For those who join the monthly plan after June, catch-up payments will be required. If you choose the monthly or quarterly payment option , you must contact Tuition Management Systems on the web or 800-356-8329. If you enroll in the monthly or quarterly option after July 15, all past payments will be due when you enroll.
The Student Accounts office will not make any payment plans or payment arrangements for outstanding balances. If an installment payment plan will be best for you, please enroll in TMS (Tuition Management Systems).
