The most important thing to remember about
these reviews is that they are INFORMAL! So, basically anything you write will not only be fine, but will be awesome and greatly appreciated. That being said, here are some questions/tips to consider if you are looking for more direction about what a review should include: * What would you say to a friend if you were telling them about the book you read? Remember, this is essentially what you are doing. * A brief plot summary is probably a good idea, but be careful not to give the ending away! * What did you like about the story itself? * What did you like about the way the author chose to tell the story? * To whom would you recommend this book? (i.e. horse lovers, psychology majors, athletes, physics professors, anyone literate, etc.) * As a general rule, try to keep your reviews under 200 words / approx. 10 sentences. We will accept reviews of any length, but this is a nice size for the purposes of the Reading Connection. Thanks for your interest! We look forward to receiving your review.
