Background

St. Olaf made many steps toward sustainability during 2003-2004.  Efforts include the formation of the Sustainability Task Force to make administrative recommendations to the college, a new class called Campus Ecology to educate students about campus sustainability, and increased activity from a student group called the St. Olaf Environmental Coalition. Read the article below, from the Manitou Messenger, to hear more about St. Olaf's plans for a wind turbine.
