Fall Semester '08 IDEA is raising awareness of AIDS and its devestating effects on the developing world. The group is again bringing in speakers from around the world, but this time instead of having only one week dedicated to the cause, they're spreading the events out over the whole semester.
2007-8
Fall Semester '07 IDEA put on a week of awareness for microfinance. Events included speakers from around the world, a letter-writing campaign, interactive games and a panel discussion. We raised money through sales of IDEA t-shirts and bracelets as well as a silent auction.
theWeek was a giant success! We donated over $2,000 to microfinance thanks to an extremely supportive community! For more information on theWeek, check out its website here.
