IDEA is a group founded in 2007 that aims to help less developed countries. It educates the St. Olaf and broader communities and spurs them to take action. IDEA raises both money and awareness in pursuit of its mission.
IDEA is short for "Student Organization for International Development Education and Action." IDEA educates fellow students, faculty, staff and community members about the issues facing less developed countries and the mechanisms those countries use to combat these issues.
