| Best Part of
Being a Limestone: |
|
Being in an a cappella group is
such an amazing honor. To experience the magic of seven voices blending
and floating together is an experience like none other. And singing
with six guys that are practically brothers by now, I feel I've been
blessed with a tremendous gift. And of course, we occasionally get paid
in leprechaun gold and throat coat tea. |
| Influences: |
|
I grew up listening to and
singing along with Amy Grant on family vacations, and had a lot of
Beatles playing in the house when I was younger. Both have really
influenced a lot of my musical preferences and stylings throughout my
life, though I now prefer Guster, the Counting Crows and Jars of Clay.
My parents have shaped much of my musical ability, both playing guitar
and piano and strongly encouraging my pursuits in those and other
musical endeavors. And I see music as one of God's gifts, so I can't
ignore the musical blessings He has given me.

| Greatest
Limestones Moment: |
|
Any moment where I feel like
I'm contributing something unique to the group, and knowing that I can
add more than just a tenor voice. I get shivers every time we sing
Desperado, it's such a beautiful song and the lyrics have become much
more meaningful for me over time. And I will never forget watching Marc
"prove himself" while tubing on the lake at Nev's cabin. Good times....
