Stitches for Peace
Category: Volunteer Network Programs
Stitches for Peace is an organization dedicated to outreach in both the local and global community. Members meet weekly to knit and crochet individual projects such as hats or mittens as well as group projects such as blankets. Those items are then either donated directly to various charities or are sold to raise money for charitable organizations such as Heifer International. No experience is necessary, and meeting attendance is flexible. Materials for club-sale projects are provided. Students, faculty and community members are all welcome to join!
Meetings: Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm, Mellby Hall (upper lounge)
Contacts: Natalie Brottman (brottm1)
