Project Friendship

Project Friendship has been at St. Olaf and Carleton for 50 years! Through Project Friendship, students are paired with children from the Northfield community, and they spend an hour per week together “hanging out” on campus- playing games, throwing a baseball, making cookies, etc. Students serve as role models to the children. There are also opportunities for mentors and mentees to attend Project Friendship events hosted by the student directors at St. Olaf, such as a fall harvest party.
