Ole Spring Relief

Category: Volunteer Network Programs

Ole Spring Relief (OSR) is St. Olaf's most popular and established spring break service trip. Students travel across the country to different regions in buses of about 40 students to provide disaster relief to communities in need. By the end of the trip, students have gained lasting friendships, growth in leadership, and a new community with which they can have fun. OSR aspires to build community within a diverse group of college students while helping Americans affected by natural disasters around the country. We provide activities that foster community building, self reflection, and shared vulnerability. As a result, students who have experienced Ole Spring Relief feel deeper connections with themselves, their peers, and are inspired to continue to serve others.
