Current apathy weakens future society

This past interim I stayed on the hill and braved the cold. Meanwhile, I fulfilled my theology credit in a class titled "Political and Liberation Theology" taught by Professor Phil Stolzfus. The class was an excellent introduction to the usage of the Christian religion (as well as perhaps other religions) to liberate peoples in Latin America, Africa, and the United States from oppression.

Do veganism and environmentalism go against human nature?

Humans do not make very good animals. We have no natural coat, which severely limits the climates an unclothed person can live in. We are not especially fast or strong and have no fangs or claws for killing prey. Our stomach and teeth are too weak for grazing, and very few places have enough raw, uncultivated fruits and vegetables to support humans.

A few nights ago I watched a movie called 'The Skulls', which talked about a secret organization that had lots of money and cool guy stuff to give to its members. This movie gave away a one of Washington's biggest secrets: George Bush was a member of 'The Skulls'. Yes, it's true, the movie said so, and if it's on my TV, it's real.

So the election is finally over. And a lot of the people in Florida who voted for Nader instead of being scared into voting for Gore are probably thinking twice. For a lot of people the prospect of another Bush in the White House is a scary one. I voted for Nader.
