Bipolarity
James Proescholdt
Student Columnist

Parents have an extraordinarily difficult task. During their children's younger years, it is necessary to observe their every action to ensure appropriate learned behavior. They must set rules for their children to follow and enforce punishments if they are broken.

Busta Rhymes? Busta move? Busta...what?
A word from our editors...
Editorial

Busta Rhymes is one of the most flamboyant personas in hip hop. For the past week, rumors have flown around campus about the possibility of him headlining the annual Fall Concert. Although he has yet to sign any sort of formal contract, the word has spread like an Ole Lion's roar throughout the Stav Dining Hall.

Opinions Editor

PAC Speaks

As the presidential election draws near, people begin to pay more attention to the issues being debated: education, taxes, the environment, foreign policy, health care, and safety, just to name a few. If you were among the many students watching the first presidential debate last Tuesday, you would know that these were some of the issues discussed.

Viva!
Viva Yang
Student Columnist

I would like to think that I'm an assertive person; that I know my own rights and speak my mind while still respecting the rights of others. In being assertive, I know when to say yes or no when I am faced with a situation.

Voting In Favor of Education
Sarah Henneman
Letter to the Editor

As a college student, I appreciate political candidates who pay attention to the issues important to young people. Right now, education is a big issues for me, and I anticipate that issues of taxes and raising a family will be issues in the relatively near future.
