Men and Women's Intramural football kicked off early this fall. Competing Sundays through Thursdays, a vast array of students made up the 12 teamfield.

The competition has been fierce. Pete Everson, from team OT2, states "Kildahl Hall, composed of wrestlers, gave us a run for our money this year." Supporting Everson's claim that competition was tough, Tom Dow, of team Touch Below the Waist says, "Some teams punished us."

Playoffs begin and end this week with the championships being held Thursday at 5:00 pm.

Intramural Soccer had a great regular season. The ten original teams are now vying for the two championship spots. The playoffs run this week and are being held at the IM fields down behind the Bowl. BJ from Team "Fuzzy Bunnies" says, "I don't really understand the game of soccer persay... I just go around kicking people." Not all players are as malicious as him, but come down for some exciting IM Soccer action.

Ultimate Frisbee saw yet another successful season this fall. Fourteen teams competed for eight playoff spots and the competition was intense.

From the looks of things, it has been an exciting season. Playoffs begin this week and will finish up Thursday with the championship held at 5:00 pm.

Remember to catch all the Intramural action this week down at the Intramural fields behind Skoglund. Intramural sign-up is already going on for post-Fall Break play so don't forget to sign up online at: http://www.stolaf.edu/athletics/intramural
