How dare a newspaper that continuously runs sanctimonious articles telling St. Olaf students that we must speak out against the intolerance on this campus, print an ad that is as ignorant and blatantly anti-Semitic (intolerant, in other words) as the "Committee for the Open Debate of the Holocaust" ad from last week. I'm not going to spend pages presenting evidence that the Holocaust occurred, the "facts" presented by the CODOH aren't worthy of any serious contemplation. I will say this, however: men and women who deny the Holocaust deserve to be ignored, if not disdained (especially if their denial takes the form of anti - Jewish ranting). They should not merit ad space in the newspaper of a college with the academic reputation of St. Olaf.

The website their ad is promoting a hate site. I don't care what the authors claim to be attempting or what intellectual goal they claim to be pursuing; they're simply pushing their bigoted ideas, and you, by printing their ad, are helping them. Good job. I've never been prouder to be an Ole.
