Now rewind about 25 years. Coach Koz is a contributing player on the University of Minnesota basketball team, and a full time student. Koz has always known that he has wanted to be a coach and that this is the game he loves.
Oles get burned on turf, but await fight for the Goat
Everyone seems to agree that Manitou Hill was a pretty happening place last weekend. There was the home opener for the hockey team, a major social occasion for any Ole. Bill Bradley, Kristen Gore, and a host of others spoke on Buntrock plaza, offering encouragement to Ole voters for Tuesdays elections.
Bustin out the brooms
Fortunately, the Oles were prepared for the challenge and swept the Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus College by scores of 3-2 in St. Peter on Friday and 3-1 in Northfield on Saturday.
Women's hockey skates onto the scene, loses inaugural games
Head coach Tom Osiecki will take the reins, hoping to guide Ole women's hockey into a strong program that will remain competitive for years to come.
Voleyball advances to NCAA tournament
In a season during which the St. Olaf women's volleyball team came up short of their goal, a MIAC regular season title, they redeemed themselves this past weekend by winning the conference tournament and clinching an automatic NCAA tournament bid.
Women's cross country leads the pack
The women continued Ole pride by successfully romping the competition. With yet another conference win, the women's team obtained the ever elusive "three-peat" in sports as MIAC Champions.
