The Board of Regents Student Committee (BORSC) is the liaison
between SGA (the student body) and the Board of Regents. The
committee is comprised of the Board of Regents Student Observer,
representatives from each class and public relations members.
BORSC’s primary functions are to compose reports for the
Board of Regents Student Affairs committee and write the informative
newsletter, Hill Hype, which is sent monthly to the Regents.
More importantly, the Board of Regents Student Committee serves
as a catalyst to promote change on behalf of the best interests
for St. Olaf. The committee becomes an avenue for information
to flow between students, faculty, administration, and Regents.
Through this interaction, constructive dialogue is generated
on select issues such as the college's policies and concerns
on campus that affect the entire student body. |
