The Lion’s Pause is the student-run and operated “nightclub”
at St. Olaf. Formerly housed in Old Ytterboe Hall, the Pause
is found on the first level of Buntrock, near the information
desk. Besides bringing in its own bands and concerts, the
Pause serves as a venue for many SAC programs. And who can
forget the tasty and affordable Pause pizza delivered across
campus and the snacks and study breaks taken at various times
throughout the day and night?
All events in the Lion's Pause are $5 to non-Oles unless
expressly stated otherwise. St. Olaf students must bring and
present their student ID cards before entering Pause events.
