The Student Organization Committee aspires to provide student organization
leaders with the financial resources they need. Grants are the foundation
of many organizations' operations, and S.O.C. can provide suitable aid for
transportation, speakers, lodging, events, and many other ideas that the
organizations have. S.O.C. also encourages organizations to be
innovative! From fundraising ideas, to alternative funding sources, to
fun and new activities, S.O.C. wants to help St. Olaf orgs be as exciting
and functional as possible. The Student Organizations Committee also runs
the Student Organizations Resource Center (SORC). Here, organizations can
hold meetings, make posters, store materials, and work with their
committees in a social environment.
