Visting a Hog Barn!

On February 16th, the Pre-Vet Club had the opportunity to accompany Dr. Peggy Anne Hawkins, our favorite swine veterinarian, to a local hog barn. Here we learned about factory farming, humane care, the process of raising pigs and common swine diseases! Thank you to Rusty Teide for allowing us to visit!
