During the 1999 summer field season, a member of the CEGSIC team, Andrew Malm, participated in the study of the outburst flood of Hidden Creek Creek Lake on Kennicott Glacier in the Wrangell Mountains of Alaska. Andrew used the portable radar system to obtain profiles of the bed of Kennicott Glacier near Hidden Creek Lake. The radar was also used in determining the ice thickness near the hot water drill site.
