Fotoprosjektet

In the fall, the Norwegian Department at St. Olaf College is going to begin a project called the "Virtual Photo Album." We will be collecting pictures of people, places, objects, and events in Norway, and combining them with written captions and sound. We will begin by describing the faculty, American students, and Norwegian students at St. Olaf College, and we will also be soliciting photos from native Norwegians. Many Norwegian university, secondary, and elementary school classes are involved in Internet projects, and we hope to receive contributions from them.

Below is an example of how this photo album will look and function. You will see some of my own pictures from Norway along with short captions. If you click on the captions, you will be able to hear them via Real Audio. The Real Audio Player can be downloaded for free from the Real Audio Home Page.
