One of the best uses of the internet is to display course information, course materials, and student projects. It gives teachers a chance to see how other teachers organize and present their courses, and it gives students access to a wide range of current materials and allows them to make contact with other students from all over the world. The best collection of links to online courses can be found at the University of Texas at Austin:

Here at St. Olaf, we are also developing online course materials. So far, we have online syllabi, calendars, assignment sheets, Norwegian links, and student projects, but we are also working on making web-based course materials.
