"...the players...delivered a lively account of adroitly accented rhythms and glowing sentiments."  --Star Tribune

Accolades such as this are commonplace for The Musical Offering. It is the oldest, continuously performing chamber music ensemble in the Twin Cities. For the past 26 years, it has given audiences the chance to experience chamber music the way it was meant to be heard, performed in an intimate, friendly atmosphere by professional musicians who play together for the sheer joy and satisfaction of music. The variety of instruments represented in the group allows it to present chamber music for rarely performed instrumental combinations, as well as featuring contemporary and newly commissioned music.

Founded in 1986, the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet is regarded as one of North America’s leading guitar ensembles. They have received national acclaim for the exceptional virtuosity and sensitivity, and their first two CDs on Albany records continue to receive rave reviews from the national and international press. Their concertizing, in recital and with orchestra, has taken them throughout the United States, with appearances on the nationally syndicated radio programs, Saint Paul Sunday Morning and Performance Today. The MGQ is frequently invited to perform and teach at festivals and universities around the United States.

Bronze Medal Winner of the 1982 Tchaikovsky International Competition, Anthony Ross has an active career as a recitalist, chamber musician and is principal cellist of the Minnesota Orchestra.
Acclaimed as a soloist, accompanist and leader in chamber music, Jeffrey Sykes performs throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico. He is Director of Opera for the Young, as well as founder and director of an innovative chamber Music Festival in Wisconsin.
