Bruce R. Dalgaard is Husby-Johnson Professor of
Business and Economics as well as Professor of Asian
Studies. He has been a member of the St. Olaf faculty
since 1992 and currently teaches a variety of courses in
the departments of Economics and Asian Studies.

In recent years Professor Dalgaard has spent considerable
time in Japan, first as a Fulbright Scholar at Chiba
University (1990-91) and then as a Visiting Professor in
the International Division at Waseda University
(1997-98).
- Prior to joining the St. Olaf College faculty,
Dalgaard was Professor of Economic Education and Director
of the Center for Economic Education at the University of
Minnesota, Twin Cities.
