About Me:

I grew up on a horse farm in southeast Minnesota. Between my Kindergarten and 1st grade years, my family moved from New Ulm, MN (where I was born) to Preston, MN.

Growing up I was actively involved in many school activities (band, choir, plays, speech, paper, yearbook, & radio show, to name a few) as well as being a member of the Carimona Cruisers 4-H Club for ten years.

I graduated from Preston-Fountain High School in 1991 and went on to college at Mankato State University. I graduated from there in 1997 with a double-major of Speech Communications and Law Enforcement.

I started as a Public Safety Officer at St. Olaf College in June of 1997 and was promoted to the position I now hold (Captain) in January of 2003.
