Fall 2015 - Fun Page

- Week 0 -- "Due" Thursday, September 10. I'd like you to:
- Look up the definition of Riemann Integral in your calculus textbook or in your RA 1 textbook (' sold 'em for summer tan dough? check out the library or internet!!), LaTeX it up and bring it to class. Some template docs and basic LaTeX info can be found here: In the Beginning there was LaTeX .
- Bring one statement of the
*Fundamental Theorem of Calculus*to class together with an understandable proof of that version of the*FTC*. These too should be "LaTeXed." Turn in the pdf with the LaTeX source code stapled behind the pdf. - Check out a bit of back on Riemann and Lebesgue at http://turnbull.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/history/ and save the site as a bookmark.
