Elizabeth received her BA in Political Science from Wellesley College, a Masters of Science from Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science, and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University. Having lived in New York, New England, and Asia, she moved to Minnesota in 1994 and came to St. Olaf in 1996.

Elizabeth has a strong interest in information literacy, pedagogy, and diverse teaching and learning styles. She thoroughly enjoys assisting students and faculty with their research and reference questions, and also serving as the library liaison to the social science departments, Women's Studies Program, and Hispanic Studies Program. Assisting the Spanish Department with its Interim course in Ecuador was a particularly rewarding experience. She has also enjoyed supervising Independent Studies in Children's Literature and Ecotheology.

When she's not at St. Olaf, Elizabeth may be found paddling in the Boundary Waters, the Quetico, the Queen Charlotte Islands, or spending time with her daughters and grandchild.
