Love homemade Norwegian lefse but don’t know how to make it? Have you tried making it and you are thoroughly frustrated with the process? Lefse making doesn’t have to be a maddening experience. Learn the “easy method” of lefse making. We’ll go through some of the tricks of making and discuss the different types of lefse. Each participant will take home approx. 8 lefse (container provided). (If you have a lefse grill, pastry board or lefse stick, please bring them). This is a participation class. Supply fee of $10 included in tuition.

Get all your Christmas baking done in one class! Learn to make seven traditional Norwegian desserts: rosetter (fried star or flower shaped treat), sandbakler (almond cookie in fluted tins), krumkaker (cone shaped cookie made on an iron), berlinerkranser (wreath cookies), pepperkaker (pepper cookies), kokosmakroner (coconut macaroons) and sandnøtter (sand nuts). Class is hands on. Bring containers to take home 3 dozen goodies and if you have a deep fat fryer or rosette irons, please bring them. Food fee of $20 included in tuition.
