I am currently preparing translations of the most influential devotional writings of several important seventeenth century German Lutheran clergyman for a volume in the Paulist Press series: Classics of Western Spirituality. I am including the full text of Gerhard's Sacred Meditations (translated from Latin), some hymns and excerpts from the other texts listed above (originally written in German). |
