My New Home in Utah

As of September 1, 1996 I retired from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN after more than 35 years of teaching.  Having endured all of the Minnesota winters I could (actually, one is too many) I began immediately to search for a new home with a more humane climate.  In the Spring of 1997 I purchased a new motorcycle  to make that search more fun and traveled to the southwest  in search of a suitable winter home.  The final result of my search was a  home in the delightful little southern Utah town of Hurricane.
