If you have good sound equipment, this is a fine place to get some great quality sound
files. While on the subject of sound, I should note that if you want to see one of the
great net pages related to sound try here.
Unfortunately, all this wonder was devoted to Pink Floyd (OK, some of his stuff is
listenable).
You say you are looking for some shareware? This is a really good place. If it is not here
then you probably don't need it. This place is VERY BUSY during peak use hours.
There are a lot of net searching programs out there. For me and my house the search
software of choice is YAHOO. It is simple to use, almost always available, and usually
fast.
If you have good graphics, the worlds great art collections are at your finger tips (mouse
tip?).
From automobiles to xylophones, if you are going to buy one, this is
a good place to check out.
Lost an old girl/boy friend? Then, click on "find people". If a person has a phone number you can probably find that person. Then use http://www.proximus.com/yahoo/ to map the address. So much for privacy!
