2)††††† National Science Foundation: Co-Principal Investigator, Teacher Enhancement Project: Teachers Empowering Teachers: Vertically-integrated, Inquiry-based Geometry in School Classrooms, 1994-1997 Expanding network of high school and middle school geometry teachers, culminated in a national conference at St. Olaf.
3)††††† National Science Foundation: Co-Director, Minnesota Mathematics Mobilization, Grant for Developing Networks in Mathematics Education, 1992-1996. (Coordinator and Newsletter Editor from 1986-1991.) Project to develop professional networks among school mathematics teachers, college faculty, and research and industrial mathematicians for the purpose of improving K-16 mathematics education in Minnesota. Served as a prototype for state mathematics and science coalitions in many states.
