RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
2000 - present: Member of US International Antarctic Science Expedition
(US-ITASE). 4 years of 1000+ km traverses
across the West Antarctic Ice Sheet to study spatial variations in the climate record of
the last 200 years. Responsibilities: operation of the St. Olaf radio echo-
sounding equipment to record ice thickness and internal layers.
1997 - 2000: Graduate Research Assistant, Univ. of Wyoming.
Field work in Alaska & Wyoming. Numerical modeling of hydrologic and
geologic processes, 3-dimensional
radio echo-sounding of glaciers.
1998 - 1999: Founder and organizer of Dept. of Geology &
Geophysics Student Talk Series, Univ. of Wyoming
1994 - 1997: Graduate Research Assistant, INSTAAR, Univ. of
Colo. Field work in Alaska & Colorado: 3-dimensional radio echo-sounding of
glaciers, optical surveying (total station), seasonal snow and
stream studies.

experience includes operation of ICAP Spectrometer and associated
