Dave and Mary Welch are riding their bikes across the United States starting in Anacortes, WA in mid-April, 2005. They plan to finish in Bar Harbor, ME in mid- to late June. Their plan is to follow U.S. Route 2 for most of the trip with some deviations through Washington State and Ontario to shorten the trip and avoid regions of high traffic.

This site will chronicle their adventure with (nearly) daily logs and maps. Photos will be posted as they become available.
