Becoming Agricultural Revolutionaries Now!
Barn! is a student-run discussion group focused on different issues related to sustainable agriculture. Ten students met first semester in the 2009-2010 school year to map out a curriculum. During second semester they met once a week for two hours to learn about topics ranging from the history, policy, science, business, psychology, and the ethics and values of a sustainable food system. They invited guest speakers and attended Piper Center-sponsored farm tours to various types of farms in the region.
