Break Out of the Bubble (BOB) is an annual event put on by the Piper Center's for Vocation & Career. At the event, you will have an opportunity to participate in student-led break out sessions, connect with students previously and actively engaged on campus and in the community, and learn about Piper Center resources for getting involved.

The main goals for the event are:

  1. Inform students about all the different ways they can become involved, including through student groups, community organizations, internships, academic civic engagement courses and volunteer opportunities.
  2. Provide a space for students to share their experiences.
  3. Facilitate networking between students with lots of experience and students who want to become more involved in a specific area of interest.
  4. Help students generate new ideas about what could be done on campus and in the community to address the issues, in addition to reflecting on student involvement with these issues.

Everyone is welcome, so feel free to invite your friends as well! There will also be delicious food to eat - so come hungry! *Vegetarian/Vegan Options Available Upon Request*
