Earn up to $6,000 and make connections with
St. Olaf alumni entrepreneurs in the Twin Cities area. 

Whether you want to start your own business or nonprofit, work for a start-up, or apply your entrepreneurial skills  and passion in an existing company, this program will give you a competitive edge.

The Wallace J. Estenson Entrepreneurial Internship Program is in its 15th year of fostering entrepreneurial skills in current St. Olaf students.  Over 80 St. Olaf alumni have experienced this unique program in which interns engage in the work environments of entrepreneurial companies. This program is designed to provide exposure to the theory and practice of being entrepreneurial! 

WHO: Current sophomores and juniors of any major who want to gain hands-on experience in an entrepreneurial work environment. 

WHAT: Paid summer internship (June - August, $6,000) with alumni-owned or managed companies in the Twin Cities area. Interns do everything from marketing and sales to finance, graphic design, and more!  Internship experience enhanced by three half-day classes that will orient interns to the process of nurturing ideas, articulating a vision, and building a business strategy, and bi-weekly meetings with Twin Cities alums and business leaders that will help interns build a solid professional network.
