Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program (U.S. Department of State)
Provides full college costs for junior and senior year of college and during first year of graduate study for talented students in international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy. Must commit to pursuing a graduate degree in international studies at specified graduate schools. Participating graduate schools provide financial support in the second year of graduate study based on need. Other conditions apply. Applications accepted only from sophomores.

Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholarships
Offers twelve $2,000 scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students for a winning essay on an area of the world or an international issue that is in keeping with the applicant's interest. Application consists of a resume, cover letter and essay of 500 words.
