National Association of Black Journalists
Annually awards a minimum of ten $2,500 scholarships to African American college students who are planning to pursue a career in journalism. Any foreign or US student currently attending an accredited four-year college or university may apply. Recipients also receive an all-expense-paid trip to the NABJ convention and are required to participate in student convention projects.

Asian American Journalists Association
Offers scholarships to outstanding high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students. Students are selected based on the following criteria 1) commitment to the field of journalism; 2) sensitivity to Asian American issues as demonstrated by community involvement; 3) journalistic ability; and, 4) financial need.

National Association of Hispanic Journalists
Provides several different scholarship opportunities for college undergraduates and graduates who are pursuing careers in print or broadcast journalism. Awards range from $1,000 - $5,000.
