The Point Foundation National LGBT Scholarship Fund
Grants scholarships to undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students of distinction. The mission of The Point Foundation is to provide financial support, mentoring and hope to meritorious students who are marginalized because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The foundation offers these awards as an investment in a better world for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. In the previous year, $125,000 in scholarships were awarded to eight scholars--six of whom are continuing their educations, and two of whom have graduated with highest honors.

PFund Foundation
Philanthrofund, a Minneapolis-based LGBT organization that provides scholarships!  They range in size from $1,000 to $5,000, and represent a multitude of interests (writing, activism, community involvement, music, etc).

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force – the Vaid Fellowship
The Vaid Fellowship supports and recognizes the leadership of people of color and other emerging leaders in the progressive movement for LGBT equality. Vaid Fellows are given a great deal of responsibility. One Vaid Fellow will be selected for Winter 2004, to join two current Fellows. The three Vaid Fellows selected for Summer 2004 will focus on legal and policy research and social science and legal research fields.
