Service Hours Plan

Fall 2010 (Oct.- Dec.):
- Weekly volunteering with ROG. 2 hours/week x 8 weeks = 16 hours

Interim 2011 (Jan.)

1. Full-time nonprofit internship with an environmental organization in St. Cloud, MN. 40 hours/week x 4 weeks = 160 hours

Spring 2011 (Feb.- May.)

1. Weekly volunteering with ROG. 2 hours/week x 13 weeks = 26 hours
2. Participate in spring break service trip. 35 hours

Summer 2011 (June- August.)

1. 3 hours/week of volunteering with a youth organization. 3 hours/week x 13 weeks = 39 hours
2. Could complete a 20 hour/week nonprofit internship with an environmental organization if expected Interim internship falls through

Fall 2011 (Sep.- Oct.)

1. Continued volunteering if necessary

Total service hours= 250

Membership Development Hours Plan

Attend five Students in Service Seminars = 7 hours  (everyone can include this)

Attend four CEL events or workshops =  6 hours

Learning about community solutions to environmental issues in Intro to ES = 47 hours

Total membership development hours = 60

Total hours = 250 + 60 = 310 hours (only 300 is required)
