POSTINGS
Schedules for the league will be posted on the bulletin boards located next to the Phy Ed / Athletics office in Skoglund.
RULES
1. All games will be umpired. Umpires will be responsible for calling balls and strikes, fair or foul balls, flat or too high pitches and if a runner is safe or out. All umpires decisions are FINAL!
2. A team will consist of 10 players. A team may start with as few as 7 players. When using 7 players, if agreed upon, the other team may provide a catcher but will not make a play at home. If a team is reduced to 6 players the game will be forfeited at that point.
Co-Rec: 5 men and 5 women. At NO time may there be more men than women on the field.
You must have at least 1 male on the field.
3. A game will consist of 7 innings or 45 minutes, which ever occurs first. No new inning will begin after 45 minutes.
A. The Supervisor will designate the game watch.
B. Tie games: to determine the winner when time runs out, go back to the last completed inning and use that as the final score.
C. If a game is called due to inclement weather: Three completed innings will constitute a completed game. If less than 3 innings were completed, the game will be rescheduled.
D. Decisions regarding game cancellations due to inclement weather will not be made until 3:00pm.
4. Mercy Rule: If a team is ahead by 15 runs at the completion of 5 innings the game will be called.
