An Important Message for the Northfield Community

At St. Olaf College, we’re proud to be a member of the Northfield community, and we strive to be a good neighbor. That's why we are opening the doors of our recreation, physical education and athletic facilities (Tostrud Center, Skoglund Center and Manitou Fieldhouse) to the surrounding community — at least in part. You are welcome to use some parts of the facility (such as the jogging/walking track and the basketball courts) for a nominal fee during specified hours. Because we refuse to compete directly with any local business that offers fitness and weight acivities, however, the weight room, climbing wall, pool and cardio machines are closed to the public. We appreciate your understanding. Enjoy your workout!

Northfield Community Building Hours:

Monday-Friday 6:30-9:00 AM and 11:30-1:30 PM.

Friday Evenings 6:00-8:45 PM.

Saturdays 9:00 AM - 8:45 PM.

Fees for the Northfield Community are $60 for each individual per year.
Court activities (tennis and basketball) for our Northfield Community members are Saturday s from 9:00 AM - Noon only. We would like to remind you about saturday scheduled events which may preclude court activities.
