Tutors are available to help you morning through evening 6 days a week----Come visit us for help, no appointment necessary.
Writing Place is a source of guidance for students with any writing assignments—the Writing Place provides help with all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to polishing a final draft.
Writing Place is a walk-in service staffed by peer tutors who function as writing coaches. Tutors will listen and ask questions to guide writers. Our aim is to improve writers by providing targeted writing and revision strategies. Students receive help with brainstorming ideas, clarifying theses, developing thesis support, organizing, and refining sentences. Writing Place tutors will not edit or proofread papers, but will assess patterns of errors and provide information.
