PEER ADVISOR WEEKLY WORDS OF WISDOM

"January is arguably the single greatest time to work on future-planning during the academic year. Use it! If you have any extra time this month, fill it with thinking, planning and acting in a future-minded fashion. Begin to sort out what you want from this summer and what aspire for after graduation. Make lists of your priorities, companies, non-profits and organizations that align with your passions and skills. Now begin to make contacts, call the contact listed on the organization's website or find Ole alum contacts through the online alumni directory and educate yourself on the field, career or cause! The sooner you starting thinking and acting intentionally, the more expansive your options will be."

-Solveig Hagen '09, Peer Advisor
