INTERNSHIPS
Applications accepted until 4:30pm April, 11 — Part-time intern to assist in the Communications & Marketing Department during the summer. The intern will write newsletter articles and press releases, take photographs for various publications and the website, support cable television production, assist with website maintenance, work on special projects and handle miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties. Requirements include strong interpersonal skills; major in communications or related field; junior or senior coursework in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism; and experience with Microsoft software. Wednesday, April 2, 10:00am, BC Stav Hall — Courage Center Camps (Camp Courage, Courage North and regional day camps) are part of Courage Center, a nonprofit rehabilitation and resource center for people of all ages and abilities who are experiencing barriers to health and independence. Since 1955, Courage Camps have provided camping programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities. Campers learn, grow, make friends and have fun in safe and accessible natural settings. SCHOLARSHIPS
Deadline: April 1, 4:00pm (complete application and recommendations) — The Northfield Rotary Club now invites applications for the 2009-20010 academic year. The Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship is designed to further international understanding and goodwill and provide for study abroad in one of the 162 countries where Rotary clubs are located. Some 1,200 scholarships will be available from Rotary Clubs worldwide. This scholarship is worth up to $23,000. The Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship is one-year in length. St Olaf and Carleton students who are either Juniors or Seniors may apply through the Northfield club, but may also apply through the Rotary club in their home town. The scholarship may be used for any field of study. Sian Muir is willing to help anyone who is preparing for this scholarship over Spring Break.

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
The Monterey Institute of International Studies offers PCMI degrees such as MBA International Business, MPA International Management, TESOL, International Environmental Policy. PCMI programs require separate applications to both the Monterey Institute and Peace Corps. PCMI students spend 2-3 semesters on campus in preparation for the 27 months of service in Peace Corps. After service, PCMI students return to campus to complete a required project for graduation, based on the Peace Corps assignment. Apply at the Monterery Institute of International Studies Website.
