Welcome from the Editor: Natalie Neal

Welcome back to the wonderful, windy hill! As the editor of this year's E-Newsletter, I wanted to introduce myself and keep you up to date about events and opportunities going on in the CEL. I am currently an English and Fine Arts major (although that is subject to change), and I am involved in Companydance, theater, JV women's soccer, and hall council.

As you jump enthusiastically into your classes, clubs, music, sports or whatever else you do, I challenge you to find time to get the ball rolling on drafting your resume, finding an internship, or exploring careers and majors. I got involved with the CEL last year by attending workshops such as Focus on First-Years, Identifying Vocational Interests, and Resume Writing.

However daunting the future may seem, by preparing yourself, you can qualm some of your fears. Not only that, but it can be exciting to think of all the possibilities. Take charge of your life and make every moment worthwhile. If you feel overwhelmed, know that you are not alone and that that is why the CEL exists. Come by and a friendly Peer Advisor will be there to help guide you. As our slogan says, "live your learning" and it is then you will learn how to live.
