Northfield Historical Society & Northfield Public Schools Fall Internship with St. Olaf College History Department
This academic internship provides St. Olaf College students the opportunity both to work with artifacts and other primary sources at the Northfield Historical Society and to help bring these into Northfield area classrooms. One or two St. Olaf interns, joined possibly by a Carleton intern, will develop innovative teaching materials that can be of use to Northfield school teachers, providing needed resources during a time of budget cuts. Likewise, this public history internship enables the Northfield Historical Society to open its collections to a wider public.

Meet admissions representatives from the University of Minnesota’s health professional programs. No registration is required and the event is free.  Programs that attended last year include: Clinical Lab Sciences, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Public Health, Social Work, and more!

12:00-2:00 p.m.

2007 Sports Career/ Internship Fair

3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Minnesota Twins at the Metrodome
Learn about a variety of employment and internship opportunities with many teams and sports related organizations throughout the upper Midwest.
Cost: $24.50 in advance or $30 at the door
The entry fee includes one lower reserved ticket to the 7:10 game that night against the Texas Rangers and a hot dog and soft drink.
